HNI Maggi Team in action at MAGGI Kitchen Showdown in Wellington

Flatpack Animal Challenge

As part of our Tech Intro 2014, we learnt about how flatpack technology & prefabrication is being used in China to build multi-storeyed buildings rapidly - one storey in one night.

Then we were given our own flatpack challenge........take a look at what we developed.... we had a lot of fun and certainly developed a range of creative animals.

 At HNI our Technology Department teaches an approach to Technology that involves developing products (technological outcomes) through Technological practice.

Adaptation and innovation are at the heart of technological practice and the development of quality outcomes is encouraged.

We have 5 technological environments within our department.

All students will rotate through each of the areas in Year 7 and in Year 8.
